Craft Day – William Bull Room (Room at rear), The United Reformed Church, High Street, Newport Pagnell, MK16 8EN. Saturday 11th September 2010, 09:30 to 15:30hrs.
If you would like to help make our dog beds, knit dog coats or other items please join us at one of our craft days. These are drop-in sessions so people don’t have to stay all day, please bring a packed lunch. Tea/coffee/biscuits will be provided for £1 each.
If you don’t feel able to help with the sewing we are also looking for volunteers to cut around postage stamps before they are sent off to raise money for the charity. Please bring your own scissors.

We will have stall at this event. There will be games such as ‘Catch the Rat’ and ‘Name the Dog’, children’s lucky dip and items for sale such as soft toys, Christmas crackers and felt badges as well as Hearing Dogs for Deaf People branded goods including key rings, greetings cards, pens, calendars and of course some of our working dogs will be there together with some puppies in training.
Novelty Dog Show - Herts Branch

Novelty Dog Show and display by the National Hearing Dog Demonstration Team on Sunday 12th September 2010 from 1:30 pm at Parish Field, Station Road, Bricket Wood. AL2 3PJ
Entries on the day – registration from 11:30 am
Classes include Handsomest Dog, Prettiest Bitch, Best Rescue Dog, Waggiest Tail, Coat in Best Condition, Best Child Handler 12 years and under, Dog with the Most Appealing Eyes and Best in Show.
Rosettes for 1st to 6th places in all classes. All dogs (over 6 months) with well behaved owners most welcome.
Refreshments will be available plus there will be a variety of stalls, a giant slide and a raffle.
The Milton Keynes branch will have a stall there selling hand-made dog beds, dog coats and some craft items.
Knitting Circle

The focus will be on Christmas goods for the tombola at Green Park school.

Paws for Coffee - Newport Pagnell

Paws for Coffee at Portfields Community Centre, Wordsworth Avenue, Newport Pagnell MK16 8SB on Saturday 16th October 2010 between 10:00 and 12:00.
The venue is adjacent to the Dove Public House in Newport Pagnell. There will be teas, coffees, cold drinks and delicious home-made cake plus our tombola, craft and bric-a-brac stalls – an opportunity for some early Christmas shopping. You can also take part in our soft toy game and ‘Name the Dog’ game. There will also be the chance to meet Hearing Dogs and puppies in training and learn more about this great charity.

The Chairman b.of Aylesbury Vale District Council, Cllr Janet Blake, invites you to enter a team in her Charity Golf Day. There will be teams of four and it will be a stableford competition. Cost £180 per team which includes golf, bacon roll and coffee on arrival plus ham, egg and chips back in the clubhouse.
There will be a raffle and auction and all profits will be split equally between the British Red Cross (Buckinghamshire) and Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
